My monitor started going into suspend but wouldn't come out. Kaspersky wont run in safemode which REALLY hacks me off but oh well. When I ran the AVG scan it did say I had a heuristic.win32.Backdoor.IRCbot. The only thing Windows can do is stop the computer and restart it.
