After restart, desktop no longer just hangs, ends with a blue screen instead. Helpful +5 Report colticz Mar 6, 2009 at 12:06 AM mate, find a working hard drive and slave your current hard drive to the working drive. Other people had similar problems and Microsoft posted a bulletin http://support.microsoft.com/kb/922976 . Power off button, switch back on. I've attend 10 minutes but the screen remaining black. My virus scans, malware scans and spybot doesn't pick it up and I can't actually get a trace on the program/file. I can navigate my PC by using this folder but the screen remains black as ever….extremely annoying and frustrating!!
thanks Helpful +5 Report Iqflash Dec 20, 2008 at 12:14 PM Man, this problem happend just now with my laptop, when I woke it up from stand-by and the keyboard wasn't http://linux4newbie.com/blue-screen/blue-screen-in-vista-since-uninstalling-jetico.html Reply jacob says: July 17, 2011 at 6:59 pm What if it is a desktop, just the ac adapter? On Dell computers, it's usually F2, although you may be able to press F12 and immediately access the boot order rather than going into the BIOS and finding it. The rest are just adding special cooling or bundled software.
Sign up now. I let it stay there for a min or two. I spoke with the Video Card company and they have heard of the issue but could not fix the problem. navigate here Any recommendations would help at this time.
Reply josh says: May 31, 2008 at 10:43 pm Hey, i keep getting a black screen with a flashing _ at the top left hand corner of the page. Hard disk led flashes once but then doesn't flash anymore. Everything I've seen here does nothing to help, but I can't find the Vista disc so I haven't tried that. if you don't have SP2 installed then you could try uninstalling SP1 to get it booting again.
I was so sad. my parents were gonna kill me! I cant think of anything that could be causing it! his comment is here No available System Restore points.
i pressed f8 rappedly but it just keep making this anoying beeping noise. There is power on the USB ports because my cell phone charges. I then run SERVICES.msc and start the SERVER program and the system runs perfectly fine. What is the issue with the SERVER program at startup and what can be done to get Restart the computer once the desktop loads in Safe Mode.
The minors are video drivers! What makes it even worse is that I bought this off Ebay late last year and I don't know if I still have any warranty left. You can email us at listing or at [email protected] much thanks in advance. If both pass, it's apparently not a hard failure.
I do have a backup thumbdrive in my comp and vista ultimate 32-bit. The desktop is 2 years old. yeah, umm I will keep trying, but I am in the middle of building a pc anyway so if I can fix the hard drives then great but im still upgrading I'll also see if the network card drivers have an update.
