Currently, i have reduced the resolution on my laptop and it seems to be ok however, i would much prefer to run it at a higher resolution. For now I'm leaving it out. because my mozzila often crash, so do safari, or chrome.. If Windows only had one, it would be easy, but alas, it has a couple of thousand of them, so always give the information on the BSOD.
Could you give me the model of the laptop and i'll have a browse around for an instruction manual. The system restore can indeed be disabled. I disabled & enabled the devices one by one to arrive at the conclusion that the wifi device (or driver) was the source of the error. Look for a file with the .SYS extension and search for that file name.

So try running a memory test first. check it out It is always shutting down with that BSOD same error even if I am shutting it down with the conventional procedure.
