Linux! Windows Xp Cannot Install Programs It seems this is a recent hiccup---I was surprised to find that most of the threads on it were from the past few months. When I attempt to install them, they fail consistently. I've installed fresh (virtual) XP within a year ago and they update just fine, Plenty of existing XP all work fine, I've never had an update issue.
