I Cant Open My External Hard Drive


Not visible, to either, or the hubby's computer?! Got a corrupt message. I said i needed the data off the disk. I went through your steps above to add access to the external hard drive from my work laptop which is a PC. click site

When I inserted it into a PC, windows must've recognized it because I got an "updating drivers" message. To do so, right-click inside the unallocated space, select New Simple Volume, and go through the wizard to create a new partition. Windows 10 is an unfinished OS that should not have been released before more bugs were ironed out. is there another way of saving the info on this drive ? I tried disk mgmnt and dev mgmnt but, it is not visible there. Just type in diskmgmt.msc into the Run box and it will come up. Any advice? This instruction really helped.
