u should check the list of IDE/SATA devices it recognises,if the harddrives are installed and the boot sequence is set proparly , the poblem must lie with eather the (bootfile on I backed up the few files that where no already backed up (all of yesterdays work) and just tried again in my MacBook Pro but it doesn't seem to be working. I recently came across this forum in trying to find anwers to the same problem, however, my external drive won't work with my pc or laptop not recognizing my external drive. So I typed it into a window and bam it comes up. I HAVE LOOKED ALL OVER AND THIS WAS SO SIMPLE...! Now change SATA Mode to AHCI from IDE.You now boot into windows 7, the OS will recognize AHCI and install the devices. Good Luck.

I find it hard to believe that I got two lemons in a row from Tiger Direct.
