I've had to uninstall it on every other OS I've used. I do have an AMD card in mine, and dual SSDs at 512GB each. I would first suspect a (common?) driver issue as it seems some folks have a slow boot, while others have very fast boot times. Fuck what a dilemma. see this here
They are slow and unreliable. Disabled Chrome apps and that helped my boot significantly. You might also try a clean boot, and see if you can identify the culprit that way. taytay Got an SSD for my moms computer.

If I was asked for only one tip to seriously speed up any computer -- SSD is the way to go. Ssd Vs Hdd I currently live in India and not sure if they have any local Apple store. Every program opens in under a second.
